Professor Ehud Raanani is one of the luminaries of international clinical, academic and research cardiology. In his competence he brilliantly performs almost all existing types of operations on the heart, aorta and heart valves. He was extremely successful in treating aortic aneurysms, which allowed him to earn a steady and unwavering reputation among patients and the specialized medical community.
The professor received his basic medical education in Tel Aviv, where he subsequently trained as a cardiac surgeon and thoracic surgeon. Then, he went for an internship to a medical center in Canada, where he mastered new areas of cardiac surgery to perfection. Upon his return to Israel, he was immediately appointed head of the Cardiac Surgery Unit at Sheba Hospital.
His clinical experience totals more than 20 years, during which he has had great success in performing surgical interventions.
